Leap Year (2010)
Romantic comedy “Leap Year” tells the story of a successful working woman Anna, who travels to Dublin, Ireland to propose to her boyfriend Jeremy on leap day. An old Irish tradition says that a woman can propose to a man on February 29 and he cannot refuse. However, things don’t go according to plan. Bad weather lands Anna on the other side of the country. She is forced to hire a taxi driver and innkeeper Declan to take her to Dublin so she could make it in time for her perfect proposal. The handsome Irishman turns out to be a lot more than just a feisty pub-owner and a cab-driver. As leap day approaches, uptight Anna becomes more and more frustrated as times seems to be flying by and they are barely making it from Southwest Ireland to Dublin. Also along the way she starts to feel attracted to Declan. So it remains to be seen will Anna propose or are we in for a twist.
